BounceBack Weekend!!

After a tough weekend, we bounce back with a strong card, backed by the most detailed, in-depth explanations in the free picks industry. No one can guarantee that every pick will be a winner, but our research and hard work have been consistently profitable over time, and we look forward to continued successes with this approach.

This week, we are offering a tasty two-pack of NBA plays, one dog we expect to bite hard, and one fave we expect to lay down a blowout. You can see our Top Play right here, but to get the full card, you’ve got to be a GoSportsBet member! Join our sponsor now.

We love situations where bookies put too much value on a home team. That’s what they’ve done this week with the San Antonio Spurs, listing them as 14 point favorites against the Memphis Grizzlies. Spurs are hot, to be sure, but we think that taking points with Memphis is never a bad thing.

Although the Grizzlies have been struggling on the road (3-19 SU), they are 6-1 ATS as 10 or more underdogs this season. We expect them to keep this one close right until the very end. Pau Gasol and Mike Miller match up well offensively with San Antonio, and the team comes into this game on a high note after beating Utah in overtime on Wednesday.

San Antonio, meanwhile, doesn’t look like they are the dominant force in the Western Conference any more. In their last game against Houston Wednesday, Tim Duncan had 37 points but the rest of the team shot just 36.7 percent from the field. Spurs fell to 1-5 ATS in their last six, and 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 contests at home. Also, Memphis is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 in this series. 14 is way too much for the Spurs to cover. Take the “dog” on this one for the best value.

Play Memphis Grizzlies, ATS.

Another Perfect Weekend!!

YET AGAIN, another perfect week – if you’ve been paying attention, we’re on quite a tear in January. If you listened to us, you’d have known that the Patriots were underrated, and banged them. We also predicted that the Miami Heat would go to town on the pitiful Golden State Warriors, which they did, winning by 22 points and giving you great value.

We’re liking the Toronto Raptors, who have won six of their last eight, against the Utah Jazz Friday night. These Raptors are 8-1 ATS in their last nine games, and have played extremely well at home this season, where they’re 12-5 ATS. Toronto’s defense has impressed a lot of people these days, holding their opponents just 86.2 points per game in the last five contests.

Toronto is catching Utah at the right time. The Jazz had lost five of six before snapping a four-game skid with a 100-99 win over Detroit on Wednesday. Their defense has struggled giving 112.4 points per game in their last five games.

Chris Bosh has been playing great since he came back from injury at the beginning of this year, and we predict he’ll have a big night against the Jazz.

- Play Toronto Raptors, ATS.

Perfect Weekend, NFL run now 10-2

We went a perfect 2-0 last week, as our NFL playoff picks got off to a great start (Dallas covering on the road at Seattle) and the red hot Phoenix Suns Covering a 19 point spread against the Miami Heat without D-Wade. We bring you another tasty serving of free plays on NBA and NFL.

The Miami Heat head into Golden State on Friday night to take on the Warriors. The Heat lost 5 in a row (both SU and ATS) since Dwyane Wade injured his wrist early in the game in Chicago on Dec. 27. Wade returned on Sunday and they have won two. Wade is now averaging 31.8 points in his last eight games that he has played more than six minutes, and Miami has won seven of those contests. Moreover, longawaited Shaquille O’Neal may come back to play this game. Antoine Walker and James Posey will also be available.

Golden State, on the other hand, have lost three of their last four games (0-4 ATS), allowing 116.8 points in those contests. Baron Davis had only 13 points on 4-of-14 shooting the last game against the Magic.

We’re looking for the Heat to bounce back in a big way as the road dog. Miami has dominated the series of late, winning 15 of the last 19 matchups, including the last two at Oracle Arena. Golden State has been plagued by Jason Richardson’s injury, and this will be a factor here, as no one on the Warriors will be able to keep up with the healthy Heat.

- Play Miami Heat, ATS.

Ready for NFL Playoffs? Hot streak continues!

It was a great week for football at TopSportsTips last weekend. The NFLTopPicks team has hit 4 in a row with the Packers’ victory against the Bears. This week we return with two strong plays on NBA and NFL to start 2007 off right.

As you know, we tend to be cautious laying a heavy number, but this situation appears solid for Suns fans, with Phoenix favored big against Miami. Shaq and Wade were both out when Phoenix beat Miami on Dec. 13 but this time around, the Heat have even bigger problems. Struggling Miami Heat are playing their 4th game without all-star guard Dwyane Wade who suffered a sprained wrist. Making matters worse, forwards Antoine Walker and James Posey were deactivated because their body fat levels are 1 percent over team orders.

On the other hand, Phoenix has been one of the strongest home teams this season, at 12-3. The Suns are on an four game win streak, and 13-1 against the Eastern Conference this season. We’re not convinced the Heat will make a game of this, particularly since they’ve been unable to hit the century mark in 4 consecutive games. Finally, the Heat have got to be demoralized heading into this one against the NBA’s highest-scoring team, whereas the Suns are back at their home court after winning all three on the road, and will come out pumped up, running and gunning.

- Play Phoenix Suns, ATS.
